In the opening area of the Lava Grotto, toward the Southeast there's a puzzle where you have to use Actus + Move + Bounce while standing on a retractable pillar in order to direct a fireball into an inaccessible chamber; this drains a pool of lava and grants access to a chest containing a Soul Bead. This puzzle doesn't appear to be solvable when using a gamepad. The fireball loses altitude shortly after moving beyond the edge of the pillar, causing it to collide with the ground before it reaches the target area.A bit of experimentation suggests that when using Actus + Move with the keyboard/mouse controls, whether the projectile gains or loses altitude in flight appears to be determined by the height of the particular piece of terrain that you right-click in order to launch it. When using a gamepad, however, wheter the projectile gains or loses altitude in flight appears to be determined by the height of the highlighted interactive object, or if there's no highlighted object, by the height of the terrain some arbitrary distance in front of Zia in the direction she's facing. In most circumstances, this produces the expected behaviour; for example, if Zia is facing up or down a slope, the projectile will follow the slope. Thanks for the report! You have a point with the fact that with the controller the projectile go slightly down compare that with the mouse it goes direcly where you click. Thats make this puzzle difficult to do with bounce or any spell that use move.Although, using bounce or a projectile is not the only way to do it. In fact, theres a way you can do it without using any projectile by making Zia reach the 'torch' platform:).
And this is the way we though this puzzle. So its nice to see that player made it in a different way we tough about! In any case, your point stand and we will try to optimize the controler behavior in these situation!Again, thanks a lot for your feedback and we hope you enjoy the game!
